Days since we have been married!
We met on Tinder Match.com...
We both have mutual friends who met on Match.com and subsequently, we both decided to give it a try. Kirk messaged Martina in late September 2017 and it took Martina a few days to decide if she wanted to give this guy living in "Reno" a shot. Luckily, she did.
We took our first date in a somewhat unordinary fashion and took a 4 day roadtrip. The compatibility test was on in full force.

ATTIRE
This is a formal event, please dress accordingly. The 3 main floors are all enclosed with heating / air conditioning as needed. There are also balconies on all decks with the 4th deck being completely open to the night sky, so a light jacket may be advisable for spending time out here.
Parking
Please park in the parking structure at Lido Marina Village and disregard the $30 fee (see map above - the parking structure is above the Electra Cruises building). We are having this comped during the event and you can leave your car in the structure until 1AM. When you disembark from the ship, make sure to grab a validated parking card from an Electra crew member to use when exiting the parking garage.
Embarkation
Boarding begins at 4:30 PM and it is preferred you are on the dock by 4:15 PM. Plan to arrive before 4 PM so you can park, and find the dock with no rush. There are many restaurants here where you can grab an early drink or snack!
It is CRUCIAL that you are on time and give enough time for likely issues with traffic in arriving here. If you are late, the ship will have already left and you will miss the Ceremony and Reception.
We will be on the yacht for the entirety of the wedding as the Ceremony and Reception will all take place on the ship.
GIFTS
Please do not bring ANY wrapped gifts as we are not allowed to have them on the ship per Coast Guard and Electra Cruises regulations. As you will see near the bottom of this page, our Registry is all Digital gifts.
ALCOHOL
UPDATE: We are doing an open bar with mixed drinks, beer, wine, and champagne! However, please note they do not pour shots. Do not drink and drive. Getting an Uber or Lyft is highly advised!
CHILDREN
Please do not bring ANY children with you.
We love babies and kids, but want this to be an adults only event.

THERE ARE MANY GREAT AND AFFORDABLE AIRBNB OPTIONS IN the NEWPORT BEACH AREA.
IF you Prefer a hotel, you can BOOK A ROOM AT OUR room block at the Newport Beach Marriott Bayview.
Mention the “Murialdo / Nankivell Wedding Block” when booking. Dates are available from April 11 - 13, 2019 at $144 / night plus taxes. Car parking is an additional $29 / night. Bookings must be made before Thursday March 14, 2019 to get the special rate.
ANOTHER GREAT OPTION, YET MORE LUXURIOUS AND EXPENSIVE IS THE HYATT REGENCY NEWPORT BEACH
We do NOT have a room block at this hotel. However, this is closer to the harbor and the other weekend activities. They have several incredible pools and restaurants to choose from. This place is a nice resort!
