Our Story - How the Adventurers Came to Be
We both have mutual friends who met on Match.com and subsequently, we both decided to give it a try. Kirk messaged Martina in late September 2017 and it took Martina a few days to decide if she wanted to give this guy living in "Reno" a shot.
Luckily, she did.
We took our first date in a somewhat unordinary fashion and took a 4 day roadtrip. The compatibility test was on in full force.
VEGAS > ZION > ANTELOPE CANYON > GRAND CANYON > ANZA BORREGO > SAN DIEGO
To match their personalities and spirit of adventure, Kirk and Martina decided to go on a first date that comprised of a 4 day camping road trip that spanned Nevada, Utah and California in Fall of 2017. Kirk picked up Martina and two of her friends up at the airport as they set out on this "trial by fire" first date. The 4 day marathon first date was a success and Martina and Kirk continued to date after this even though they lived in different states.

Day 4 - TBD around Grand Canyon area + Anza-Borrego mud caverns + San Diego
Kirk first verbalized his love to Martina while they were sitting next to a brook in Yosemite in Spring of 2018. Martina was so thrilled to hear that Kirk felt the same way about her as she had felt about him. In the subsequent months they continued to explore God's beautiful world as they continued to fall deeper and deeper in love.
While on a Caribbean vacation in the Fall of 2018, Kirk got down on one knee and asked for Martina's hand to seal the deal. The two of them couldn't be more overjoyed as they plan for their wedding and for happy ever after!
